What Keeps Many People From Seeing A Chiropractor?

I’m Going To Say It Aloud: Fear of being “SOLD” expensive and excessive treatment…that’s what!

  • X-rays that may be used to convince you that you have a greater problem than you do.
  • Recommendations for multiple visits when you just have a “hitch in your get-along” or a simple “crick in your neck.”

Over more than 20 years, many patients have shared with me how relieved they are to discover that I won’t pressure anybody into a bunch of treatment that they don’t want or need. A treatment or two is frequently all that’s required for an episode of low back pain or neck pain.

Many people utilize chiropractic treatment as a method for an occassional relief of accumulated stress. But many others don’t…for fear of being made to feel bad by their chiropractor because of not getting treatment more frequently.

My experience is that you don’t want a canned sales presentation from your doctor. And you don’t want to get the same treatment recommendation that every other patient gets. And you don’t want to be scared or bullied into treatment. You want and need a doctor who takes the time to understand your particular circumstance and applies the right kind of treatment for you.

A hitch in your get-along simply does NOT require numerous treatments. Often just one treatment is sufficient.

However, some patients suffer from much more chronic and body-wide symptoms. Applying the same treatment method or program of care would obviously not work!
